Most women are one paycheck or one man away from being bankrupt or homeless. Even those with businesses pour their earnings back into the business, and, in the end, never truly see long-term wealth. It’s time for that to change.

After founding PartPic in 2013, Jewel Burks Solomon became the first ever Black female to scale and sell her business to a Fortune 5 company when it was bought by Amazon in 2016. Along the way she overcame obstacles and faced down bigotry, carried through by the strength of her vision and her resilience.
