Following his vision of the coming Messiah, the prophet Daniel creates a select group of men who will count down the calendar to the arrival of Israel's promised king. Centuries later, as the day nears, Myrad, a young magi acolyte, flees for his life when his adoptive father and others are put to death by a ruthless Parthian queen. Having grabbed only a few possessions, Myrad escapes the city, and searching for a way to hide from the soldiers scouring the trade routes, he tries to join the caravan of the merchant Walagash.

In the last decade before the ending of the period of time known as “B.C.”, Rassan, a privileged member of the Parthian military due to his late father, is sent to stop HeadmasterMagi Vinda Farnah from entering Jerusalem. He comes across the Magi, near death from bandits. Vinda calls Rassan by name and tells him of an angelic appearance. This sets in motion a series of events marked by betrayal, loyalty, great discovery, and many obstacles. Rassan gives up his power and privilege in the military to become an apprentice to the Magi.

Walking with the Magi is the Christmas story of the coming of the Wise Men. Journey with them as they explain how they were following the prophecies of Daniel to find the Christ Child.

William Sydney Porter was born on 11th September 1862 in Greensboro, North Carolina. At age 3 his mother died from tuberculosis. From an early age it was clear Porter had a large appetite for reading as he absorbed the world around him. In December 1899 in McClure’s Magazine he published a short story as O Henry.

A wiseman had a dream, and it all began with a star. Three magi, Gaspar from India, Melchior from Persia, and Balthasar from Arabia, set out on a star-led journey to meet the newborn world ruler.
