  • One Mile of Gas and a Whole Lot of God
    2026/08/17

Y’all, this one is a testimony start to finish. My friend Hannah McDonald and I sat down 48 hours into a weekend that was absolutely marinated in God-moments, and we’re unboxing every single one of them — starting with the time we rolled into a random gas station on ONE MILE of gas left in the tank. One mile, y’all. But that gas station just happened to have a prayer shack with walls covered in a hundred handwritten prayers, and the number ONE showing up everywhere we turned all night long. Coincidence? We don’t think so.

We talk about what Hannah calls “reading God’s language” — learning to recognize His voice and His leading even when the plan falls apart, even when a 75-minute drive turns into three hours. We dig into the difference between expectation and anticipation, why rest isn’t something you have to earn, and why our worth was never tied to how much we accomplished in a day.

Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (NKJV). “Instruct” here— it means to be prudent, to give insight, to cause someone to act wisely. And “guide” comes from the root meaning “counsel with My eye” — an intimate, watchful leading, not a distant command. That’s exactly what this whole weekend felt like: God not shouting directions from far off, but walking close enough to wink at us the whole way.

We close it out with a prayer of faith over you, the listener, because that’s still my favorite gift to give. Come get unboxed with us.

  • Flourish, Don’t Force It
    2026/08/11

Yes Y’all, this one came straight from the back patio, under the stars, past my bedtime, and honestly a LOT rough around the edges — and that’s exactly why I recorded it. Tonight I got real honest about something I’m still unboxing: the workhorse mentality. And REST without guilt. Farmer’s granddaughter, push-through-the-pain, rest-is-for-the-weak kind of thinking. And God met me right there and reminded me that rest isn’t a box — pushing past what He’s asking of my body is.

I dig into Psalm 92:12-14 (NKJV) — “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree… Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age.” Flourishing isn’t hustle. It’s what happens when you’re planted and let God do the growing.

I also talk about Isaiah 60:1 — “Arise, shine, for your light has come!” — and what it means to let God do a new thing in a season when you feel behind, slow to learn, or not enough. Grab a cup of something warm and come sit with me on the porch for this one.

  • Not “Just” Anything: Unboxing Your God-Given Worth
    2026/08/07

Y’all, I’m coming to you straight from the car, fresh out of a church gathering where the fire of God was moving in a serious way. And on my drive home — GPS rerouting me and all — the Lord started unpacking something in me about identity and calling.

Here’s the thing I keep hearing, and maybe you’ve heard it too: “I’m just a nanny.” “I’m just a custodian.” “I’m just a homemaker.” “I’m just the librarian.” Baby, there is no “just” in the Kingdom of God. Ephesians 2:10 says we are His workmanship — and I want to pull back the curtain on that word for a second,

You are not an accident. You are not a placeholder. You are God’s masterpiece, His work of art, crafted on purpose for good works He prepared for you long before you ever doubted yourself.

I also get real with you about my own mess this week — running behind on my yearly Bible reading, prioritizing everything but time with Jesus, and how the best seasons of my life have never been about where I was (Tahiti or the grocery store, don’t matter) but about how close I was walking with Him. Plus a little detour into my Southern drawl, the folks in South Dakota who weren’t kind about it, and why grace — not perfection — is what makes this podcast worth sharing.

This one’s raw, it’s imperfect, and it’s real. And honey, that’s exactly why you need to hear it.

  • Ch19 They Called Me Crazy. God Called Me Blu.
    2026/07/28

Well this is a story many don’t know

I’m pulling back the curtain on the story behind my own name — how a girl named Trish became Blu Wyatt, and why it took a worship conference in Dallas, a whole year of wrestling, and a whole lot of stubborn obedience to get there.

This episode walks through what happened when God started calling me worshipper and warrior, over and over, until I couldn’t unhear it — and how researching my own name led me straight to Genesis, to Abram becoming Abraham and Sarai becoming Sarah. Same pattern, same God, thousands of years apart.

We’re talking name changes, identity, the noise of other people’s opinions, and what it costs to actually do the “cuckoo banana pants wackadoodle” thing God puts on your heart. Spoiler: it’s usually not comfortable. But it’s always worth it.

If you’ve ever felt God nudging you toward something that makes zero sense to the people around you — this one’s for you, sis.

  • Backroads, corn and fireflies
    2026/07/19

Hey. Y’all, I’m sitting on a backwoods road in Tipton, Iowa — the same road where I once got out of the car in the pouring rain to pet a baby deer standing with its mama. Lightning bugs everywhere, corn on both sides, and God just… talking. Not in some dramatic burning-bush way. Just quiet. Steady. The kind of talking that shows up when you finally stop long enough to listen.

This episode is about patience — and let me tell you, this whole trip has been an exercise in it. Going home. Seeing the horses I grew up with. Talking to family about who I was as a kid, hearing stories about myself I didn’t even know. There’s something about standing in the place that shaped you and realizing: I am not who I was at seven. I am not who I was at thirteen. But But God — He brought me up, and out, and through.

What road are you avoiding going back down — and what might God want to unbox there?

May the Lord grant you what your heart desires that He has already placed on the inside of you. Have your way, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  • Sand, Sunscreen, and the Throne of Grace
    2026/07/10

Y’all, I recorded this one straight from the beach in Seaside, Florida — vacationing with the family, six teenage boys under one roof, and a wind I was fighting the whole time to keep off the mic. This episode is unfiltered, unplanned, and honestly? That’s exactly how it needed to be.

I talk about my senior year in NJROTC — 60 cadets under me, boot camp at 3 AM, running five miles in the rain, learning discipline the hard way. I talk about walking into a room of teenage boys’ mess and realizing the real unboxing wasn’t about their socks on the floor — it was about my own stinking thinking, my own bad attitudes, needing to get low and get on my knees before God instead of running out the door with my to-do list first.

We land on Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV): “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” I unpack that a little — the Greek word for “boldly” there is parrhēsia (Strong’s G3954), which carries the sense of freedom of speech, confidence, even bluntness. We don’t tiptoe up to God’s throne. We’re invited to come right on up, no shame, no hiding.

It’s messy, it’s joyful, it’s real talk about motherhood, selfishness, and finding joy in the sticky middle instead of waiting for the breakthrough. And I close it out with the Aaronic blessing from Numbers 6:24–26 over you.

Also — sneak peek — Book 2 has 10 chapters shelved and a couple more that came straight out of this beach trip.

  • Ch17: “we can do the math” said that church lady
    2026/06/12

Y’all, I’m just going to go ahead and lead with this — I’m a mess. A beautiful, God-graced, still-learning mess. And apparently so is my podcast, because somehow I skipped Chapter 15 entirely. We’re calling it a bonus for the early birds and moving on.

But before we get to Chapter 17, I need to slow down and talk about what happened in the space between the love story and the babies — because it wasn’t all angels singing and wedding bells. It was also temptation, a secret I was carrying into church every Sunday, a funky attitude, wild emotions, and a pregnancy test on a Tuesday that explained and Glitterally changed everything.

I talk about purity in this episode — not from a high horse, because honey, I fell off that horse. I talk about it from the mud. From the place of someone who knew better, wanted better, and still chose wrong. And I talk about what God did with all of it anyway.

If you’ve ever sinned and thought you were too far gone to come back to purity — this one’s for you. If you’ve ever been sitting in church carrying a secret — this one’s for you. And if your contractions have ever been literally off the charts — same, girl. Same.

Oh, and 1 John 5:14-15 hits different when you’re learning to pray according to His will instead of your own panic.

Chapter 17 is here. Let’s go.

  • Car Church: No Pew Required
    2026/06/01

    Wildness —adventuring —glowing and flowing.

Some of the best moments with God don’t happen in a church pew or a quiet time journal. Sometimes they happen at 50 years old, driving home in the dark, belching on the microphone, singing the wrong words to the right song, and just being with Him.

This episode? I didn’t plan it. I just hit record.

No script. No outline. Just me, my car, and a God who has never once told me I was too much. Never said quiet down, dull your shine, I’ve had enough of you, girl. Never. Not once. And honey, that alone is worth pulling over for.

But then I started talking about what He’s actually done — and I couldn’t stop. Bipolar disorder. Paralyzation. A shattered disc removed at 14. Twenty-two years of back pain — gone. Shoulders that couldn’t lift a coffee cup — healed. Eleven times the enemy tried to take me out. Eleven.

And I’m still here. Driving home. Singing off-key. Praising Jesus in the driveway.

If you need a miracle — for your body, your mind, your relationships — this one’s for you. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And He is still in the healing business.

    Come ride with me.
