This podcast is geared towards the struggles faced when making any sort of lifestyle change that will require you to level up. Specifically how the fitness world can impact your mental health both positively and negatively in any given situation. I believe your overall health is the base of all your life experiences, whether those experiences are viewed as good or bad. I think its important to talk about both. That is what I have decided to talk about on this podcast. Along with the the pros and cons of being a professional in the fitness industry for 16+ years. This space is also being held for the folks in my life who have made a major impression on me, my business and the clients we serve.

  • Hi, I'm Mica!

    This is a sloppy introduction of the host. ME! My name is Mica. I have been in the fitness space professionally since I was 17. It started as a job to make some extra cash in college. After getting my bachelors degree and Physical Therapy School becoming a doctorate program.. I realized I was pretty good at this and I DID not want to go that long for additional schooling. Through my own personal experiences it has morphed into a fulfilling career that at times I have cried tears of joy and sorrow. I am now 34. My most favorite age yet. There is a ton to unpack between then and now. Body building shows, divorce, Crossfit competitions, divorce (yes two), disordered eating, over exercising, depression, losing friends, making best friends, finding balance and everything in between. Through all the good and bad I continually find myself back in the gym when I am searching for solace. Each time, I realize that my approach becomes a little more balanced. This podcast will be about that. MY positive and negative outlook on the fitness space, relationships, small town drama and entrepreneurship.
