    I've never been particularly fond of shark films, as they can evoke both frustration and fear. What truly caught me off guard in this movie was seeing Kingsley take on such a role. As a highly esteemed and prominent actor, I never anticipated him being involved in a shark-themed film. That was honestly the only aspect that felt out of place to me. Beyond that, the film was impressively crafted. I appreciated the suspense and the quintessential shark-movie vibe, where peril strikes unexpectedly, keeping you on your toes. The dark, gripping scenes added to the thrill, and the shark attacks were sufficiently unpredictable to maintain the tension.     I have just come back from a profoundly moving night of cinema at AMC Lincoln Square 13. It was a privilege to be part of a special screening of Tuner, organized by Letterboxd and Black Bear Pictures. Directed by Daniel Roher, the film features Leo Woodall, Havana Rose Liu, and the iconic Dustin Hoffman. Although the story revolves around a piano tuner with perfect pitch who learns the art of safe-cracking, let me clarify: this is not merely a "clever heist" movie. Instead, it offers an intimate exploration of how an extraordinary, technical talent is utilized in a unique and specific context. The Anatomy of the Instrument. The film's emphasis on the art of tuning resonated deeply with me. A few years back, I hosted a small gathering at my home and decided to hire a pianist.
