    2025/06/20

This week’s episode is pure chaos in the best way possible. Travis and Emma are back with your favorite combo of pop culture commentary, deeply unserious opinions, and a little moral outrage.

First up: CupcakKe’s new track, It’s iconic. It’s unhinged. It’s art. Travis and Emma break down their favorite (insane) lyrics and give CupcakKe her flowers as the lyrical genius she is.

Then it’s time to complain, obviously. From waiting behind a soda-fueled van-load of children at Swig to the rise of the 4AM Club conspiracy theorists on TikTok, your besties spiral through cultural nonsense like only they can.

    Reality Roundup:

    • Love Island USA has lost the plot. It’s supposed to be about being hot and making out, not finding your “forever person.”
    • The Traitors season 4 cast announcement drops, and the besties give their hilarious (and surprisingly insightful) commentary. Candace Dillard, Lisa Rinna, Dorinda, and more? We’re IN.
    • Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: The first two episodes are out, and the tea is piping hot. Taylor vs. Dakota. Jen is lying. Miranda might be telling the truth? Taylor’s mom wants to be Taylor? There’s a lot to unpack.

Bonus: A very special guest joins the pod this week. Emma’s son, Jack, drops by to give listeners a special message.

  • Smurf hormones, billionaire breakups, AI therapy, and wagon wheel watusi.
    2025/06/12

This week, Travis and Emma are diving deep into the weird, the wild, and the wildly unhinged- from pregnancy side effects turning toilet seats blue to Elon Musk’s chaotic spiral into MAGA meltdown territory.

Emma shares a hilariously alarming pregnancy symptom that leads to an unexpected ChatGPT diagnosis.

Travis unpacks the unravelling bromance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump…and he couldn’t help but wonder, was the Tesla titan’s political gamble worth it?

The besties commiserate over expensive notebooks, AI addiction, and the uncanny valley of our tech-obsessed world. Are we losing our ability to think for ourselves?

They rant about HOA lawn tyranny, the environmental crimes of grass, and dream of clover-covered fairy lawns.

Finally, they drag the plot holes in Burlesque and question why Cher needed to scream “wagon wheel watusi” to carry the plot.

Whether you’re here for laughs, late-stage capitalism takedowns, or just a little bestie wisdom, this one’s for you.

    Highlights:

    • A toilet seat pregnancy reveal?!

    • Elon vs. Donnie: The billion-dollar feud

    • The $105 notebook no one asked for (but Travis needs)

    • AI girlfriends, grocery lists, and the ChatGPT therapy dilemma

    • A passionate plea to dethrone HOA-mandated grass

  • Bethenny Frankel is Travis’s hero and Target betrayed us
    2025/06/06

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month, besties! This week we’re talking about why changing your own oil is hot but not for us and how yoga teachers can read your soul. From Bethenny Frankel’s Sports Illustrated moment (and her immaculate honey brown hair) to Target’s depressing DEI backslide, we’re spiraling in every direction. Travis shares his first (and possibly last) yoga class, we dissect the Moana in-flight entertainment, and Emma educates us on the wild world of $7,000 Labubu dolls.

    Also in this episode:

    • a horrifying pregnancy update with a happy ending.
    • the rise and fall of Tom Girardi.
    • Travis defends his hero.
    • we find ourselves asking for sponsorships from Bravo and/or Andy Cohen.
    • we unpack our feelings about Target and their 2025 Pride collection.
    • why J.W. Marriott is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
    • when you need to tell your kids to sit the hell down.
    • and we finally find out what a labubu is.

It’s unfiltered. It’s chaotic. It’s everything you didn’t ask for, but needed anyway.

A huge shout out to @eessavibe for letting us use his hilarious audio in this week’s episode.

  • not our first rodeo
    2025/05/21

Welcome back, besties! In this week’s episode, Travis and Emma dive headfirst into the chaos of adulthood, pregnancy updates, first jobs, and the baffling scam that is American healthcare.

    We ask the big questions:

    • Why does health insurance feel like a trap?
    • When did we realize adulthood was a scam?
    • Do babies think… and what is thinking anyway?
    • Why is the Titanic still in the news?
    • And are old wives’ tales just misogyny in disguise?

Emma updates us on week 11 of her pregnancy (yes, Travis did invite a pregnant woman to join a dodgeball league) and we find out the truly cursed way Travis found out she was expecting. We reminisce about our first jobs (Hollister perfume clouds and pizza shop gang members included), talk about what makes us feel unhinged, and try to make sense of weird pregnancy myths. Plus: ✨ spatial awareness rants, ✨ compulsive cuticle clipping, ✨ the trauma of listening to people eat, ✨ and a romantic cruise ship Celine Dion moment Travis will never forget.✨

We wrap it up with things we don’t understand (brains!) and some very important public pleas:

    • If you’re a brain surgeon, please email us.
    • If you know why babies remember the womb, PLEASE email us.
    • And if you just don’t understand something either — we want to hear it!

  • the soft launch no one asked for
    2025/05/14

In our very first episode, we attempt to soft launch this podcast with all the professionalism of a cardboard car held together by super glue. Join us at the beginning of a journey that might be the greatest (or most unhinged) friendship experiment in human history. We cover the origin story of bestie approved, why stay-at-home dads are treated like saints, how to identify your suburban mom era through hot glue gun purchases, and why Travis once asked if he needed to take off his shoes at a hospital metal detector.
