“…And da Vinci said I like to fuuuuuuuu….function as a one-stop art shop.” It’s our Season 2 finale - extra-sized to keep you satiated through the rest of the summer - and we’re sending it off with a Molotov bang, a brushstroke of burnt umber, and a head tilt sharp enough to open an envelope.

In this episode, we allow you to escape the way only Oklahomans can—through a dumb, understaffed county jail and an open-door policy that would shock even the Kool-Aid Man. We meet a murderous couple in New Jersey who took sibling rivalry to a whole new level, then visit fair Florence, Italy and hang out with a genius. From there, we ride Stack’s coat tails to Rhode Island, where a missing wife and a husband with a thesaurus leave us with more questions than answers. And to round it out, we uncover a furry browed scam artist in Florida who steals from the government at a dry tortoise’s pace. So come and UNALIVE your boredom with Zach and Stephanie on ZACHSOLVED MYSTERIES!

See you in the fall for Season 3 (unless we fake our deaths first...) And hey, if you miss us, we’re not really gone—join our Patreon for our Summer of Mortality series! We’ll be dropping fresh chaos all summer long over there, even while the main feed is on vacation.

  • Episode 58: To Rasputin, Thanks for Everything! - The Romanovs - Season 6, Episode 3
    2025/07/13

    Send us a text

This week, we go digging for the truth—and end up unearthing royalty, Rasputin, and a surprisingly efficient storage hack.

First, a woman with no name—and plenty of scars—emerges from a German asylum claiming a past that might be tragic, imperial, or both. Then, a small-town sheriff learns the hard way that holiday spirit doesn’t mix well with foster system red tape. And finally, a criminal mastermind introduces a space-saving solution so bold, you’ll never look at dust bunnies the same way again.

Plus, ZSM Theatre returns with daytime talk show DNA tests, disembodied mystics, and a Real Housewives-style vodka launch that ends in blood, glass, and at least one misplaced weave.

Mystery, mayhem, and multiple identities—because the only thing harder than proving who you are is convincing everyone you're not someone else.

    This week, we go vertical.

Zach and Stephanie scale the suspicious scaffolding of Unsolved Mysteries: The Netflix Reboot, kicking off with a case so absurd, it could’ve been sponsored by OtterBox and the Freemasons. We’re talking flip-flops, physics, and a suicide theory that collapses under the weight of basic physics.

    Plus:
    - ZSM Theatre returns with law enforcement dumbassery, legal loophole Olympics, and a maintenance worker who moonlights in “alterations”.
    - Stephanie unveils a few eyebrow-raising facts Netflix left out.
    - Zach debunks gravity. Emotionally.

Don’t miss it—unless you’re too busy trying to figure out how a cell phone survived a fatal plunge unscathed. In that case… you might already be part of the legal team.

  • Episode 56: Ghosts in the Green Room - Season 8, Episode 12
    2025/06/06

    Send us a text

Get ready for an episode that jumps from haunted hilarity to heartbreaking mysteries faster than you can say “tweed jacket.” This week, we confront a killer who might’ve gone from the woods to the stage, investigate a family tragedy with more questions than answers, and share a reunion story that brings tears (and maybe a pistol or two). Plus, there’s a predator on the loose in Buffalo whose methods make your skin crawl—and yes, he’s the reason your cereal tastes funny. We also sneak in a brand-new ZSM Theatre segment, where things get even weirder.

Join us - because when the lights go out, even the ghosts can't resist a good punchline.

  • From the ZSM Archives: Episode 24 - A Sweaty Christmas in Summer!
    2025/05/30

    Send us a text

We can already feel the summer heat rolling in like a freight train, so we thought it was the perfect time to crack open this frosty treat from our archives - a little holiday AC for your brain, if you will.

Originally released in December of 2023, this episode is one of our funniest - filled with chaos, religious relics, Bill O'Reilly’s falafel fiasco, and more. It's an early Christmas gift to you, minus the wrapping paper.

Summer may be coming in hot, but a little holiday chaos is the perfect way to cool things down and keep your spirits high. We’ll be back next week with a new episode – in the meantime, stay frosty, stay mysterious, and stay tuned!

  • Episode 55: How I Learned to Stop Functioning and Weaponize My Incompetence - Season 10, Episode 2
    2025/05/16

    Send us a text

This week on Zachsolved Mysteries, incompetence isn’t just a theme – it’s a through line. From real-life walk-ins to spiritual walk-outs, from third-person murder denials to to Zach somehow outsourcing his responsibilities mid-sentence, we’ve got the full spectrum.

Join us as we spiral through a suspiciously well-staged death scene in Texas (starring an aggressively incompetent man who only slips into first person when accidentally confessing to a murder), a metaphysical phenomenon that raises more questions than souls, and an anonymous trucker with divine timing and zero forwarding address.

Plus: ZSM Theatre returns with ghostly accountability hearings, post-resurrection regret, and possibly the worst police force in the multiverse. Also: Zach weaponizes his incompetence so many times we had to check if he was the walk-in.

Remember: justice may be elusive, but delusion? Limitless.

  • Episode 54: [this brain intentionally left blank] - Season 5, Episode 5
    2025/05/02

    Send us a text

This week, the mystery machine short-circuits in the best possible way. We chase memory gaps, muddled aliases, and missing mid-century mustaches in an episode that asks: what happens when even the backstories get confused?

Unsolved Mysteries gives us amnesia, aliases, a small-town murder, and a woman who disappears more often than she shows up—but ZSM Theatre takes it from there, plunging us deep into the metaphorical swamp (and, let’s be honest, a literal one too).

There are timelines. There are truths only your upper lips remembers. There are cold cases and even colder coleslaw.

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and thought, “Hi, I’m… uh…,” this one’s for you.

  • Episode 53: Float Like a Trauma, Sting Like a Memory - Season 2, Episode 8
    2025/04/11

    Send us a text

In this episode, we ask the age-old question: is it unresolved trauma or just soul Pilates? Either way, we’re punching our way through some heavy stories—with trench coats, wild metaphors, and a few truly unhinged side quests to help us make it to the bell.

First, Zach investigates the mysterious death of a heavyweight boxing icon whose fear of needles might be the most overlooked clue of all. Was it an overdose… or something more sinister?

Then, ZSM Theater returns in all its chaotic glory. This time we’re reenacting a real Unsolved Mysteries reunion segment with a genre-defying fever dream of scenes—including a heartfelt bathroom monologue, an emotionally charged gas station meet-cute, and yes, a full-blown musical number. If you’ve ever wanted to watch bureaucracy tap dance while rapping, this one’s for you.

As always, content warnings apply (check our show notes). But if you stick around, you’ll get laughs, catharsis, weird history, a haunted belt, and maybe even a reminder that choosing yourself is strength with a side of righteous flair.

ZSM Theater: Not on Broadway, but give us time.
