Born in Kundapura; Shine Shetty was always interested in acting and singing. Interestingly; Shine started his career as an anchor for a Tulu channel. He pursued his acting career by completing an acting course at Mumbai. Coming back to his home state; Shine starred in TV Serials ‘Meera Madhava’ and ‘Lakshmi Baramma’. In 2019; Shine Shetty won the ‘Big Boss - Season 7’. Shine Shetty debuted in the Tulu film ‘Kudla Café.’ Later, he appeared in Tulu films like ‘Asthitva’ (2016) and ‘Gvana Yajna’ (2018) and Kannada films like ‘James’ (2022) and ‘Kantara’ (2022). As of today; Shine has 3 upcoming movies - ‘’Vijayanand’; ‘Rudraprayag’ and ‘Mafia’ lined up for production/ release. Shine started his journey as an entrepreneur with his line of Hotels called ‘Galli Kitchen’ which has grown from a food truck to two stand alone outlets.
