I’m Your Host Dreme.

I’m a Black woman, an educator turned tech entrepreneur but still an educator. Building a platform called THE CHAIR is a Black and Brown centered tech platform dedicated to supporting people on their hair journey. You can design hairboards, connect to hair stylists, and share hair care tips all in one space for a more joyous and streamlined experience. I built THE CHAIR Podcast to highlight hair journeys. A reminder to keep creating magic. As people sit in THE CHAIR you will get more than just hair stories. You will be immersed into experiences surrounding education, entrepreneurship, and identity. I hope you enjoy listening to my stories and the stories of my guests as we sit in THE CHAIR.

THE CHAIR (S1/Ep55) — You vs. You: Go Heavier

Lexi and I met in college. We became friends when she volunteered to be a model for me in my gallery exhibition highlighting the beauty of Black women naked in color and black and white photography. When seen together, we are always laughing and cracking jokes and I am excited for you all to hear her journey into the world of fitness and her hair journey as she sits in THE CHAIR.

Her Bio:

Lexi Leneau is a personal trainer, coach, and founder of the fitness and lifestyle brand The RVLRY. She spent two years playing collegiate basketball at Lake Forest College before finishing her bachelor’s degree at Illinois State University. A certified personal trainer since 2018, Lexi has dedicated her career to helping others refine their potential—mind, body, and beyond.

For Lexi, RVLRY has always been more than ‘competition’—it’s the pursuit of self-mastery. It’s the battle between who you are and who you’re becoming, while recognizing and valuing every phase of the journey. As a coach, her approach is rooted in open dialogue, trust, and a commitment to meaningful, results-driven relationships.
