Sabbath rest often looks different for every person. What Sabbath means for one person could be vastly different from another. Abraham Heschel, a rabbi, said, "If you work with your hands, sabbath with your mind. If you work with your mind, sabbath with your hands."

We share practical examples for what resting looks like for us and what it looks like when we don't rest and retreat for a day, a week, or even a few hours each week.
