What do Mo Gawdat, Laurie Santos and Michael F. Steger have in common? They all presented at the World Happiness Summit WOHASU 2023 and the key points from their talks feature in my top 3 learnings from the summit (Part 2).
These were:
1. Try to be a bit less critical of yourself, negative thoughts and emotions are normal - put in place strategies to move you back to a positive state.
2. Try and change your indifferent relationship with nature to a relationship that you would have with a family member. Think about doing ‘one more thing’ in addition to what you are currently already doing that will positivity impact on nature. All these things will add up!
3. In response to anxiety try to focus on the skills and abilities you can develop to help you deal with the issues you are thinking about as opposed to focusing on the issues themselves.
