  • Episode #52 Meet Jessica Parente
    2026/09/13

In this episode I'm joined by Jessica Parente from Long Beach, California.
I have loved connecting with Jessica and getting to know her more during this conversation.
Jessica spent 23 years building an impressive corporate career in fashion, but in 2025, everything came to a head and Jessica decided to leave her job.
She took a leave from work to prioritise her health, and has been on a journey of reinvention ever since.
This is an honest, relatable conversation about burnout, midlife, and the quiet courage it takes to step off a path that looks perfect from the outside.
I think so many of you are going to see yourselves in Jessica's story 💛

  • Episode #51 Meet Samantha Stuart
    2026/09/06

Welcome back to Women Being Well, season five!

Today I'm joined by Samantha Stuart, the creative force behind Pretty Boutique in Tipperary, a Luxury Handmade Children’s Hair Accessories brand that started at her kitchen table.

She started by making a few bows for her daughter, a business was born and has grown into something she never could have imagined ten years ago.

Samantha's story is honestly one of my favourites, from a childhood full of creativity that she wasn't always encouraged to follow, to building a business almost by accident, to now being featured in Vogue, shortlisted for the Irish Made Awards, and named Network Ireland's Solo Businesswoman of the Year for Tipperary, heading to the nationals this September.

We talk about saying yes to opportunities, being underestimated in school, raising kids who see there's more than one path in life, and why staying true to your creative instinct , even when it doesn't look like a "real" career on paper, can lead somewhere extraordinary.

This is such a warm, honest conversation, and I think so many of you are going to see yourselves in Samantha's journey.

  • Episode #50 Meet Jonny O'Donohue
    2026/08/30

This episode is a first for me, it’s my first ever male guest on the podcast. And I couldn't have picked a better one. Jonny is also our resident breathwork coach in the Women Being Well Community.

Jonny O'Donohue spent years climbing the corporate ladder, bigger job, bigger salary, all the boxes ticked until it stopped working for him.

Burnt out, disillusioned, and getting this searing pain in his stomach every single Sunday. His body was screaming at him long before he was ready to listen.

What came out the other side of that was breathwork and Jonny's now built a career helping people use it for real, functional stress relief.

Jonny is a husband and a father, he brings a male perspective to this podcast: what stress and burnout look like from the other side.

Thank you Jonny for joining me in this very valuable conversation.

  • Episode #49 Meet Niamh Tansey
    2026/08/23

Today's episode closes out Season 4, and it's one I've been looking forward to for a long time, a conversation with my gorgeous friend Niamh Tansey, a multiple award-winning holistic therapist marking ten years in business this year.

Niamh's story starts in the corporate world, eighteen years in insurance and finance, until she took a leap most people thought was madness: walking away to retrain, first in interior design, then, almost by accident, in reflexology while on maternity leave with her daughter.

A decade on, she's built a thriving therapy clinic, blending reflexology, facial reflexology sound healing and more into treatments people travel across the city for.

In this episode, we talk about burnout, reinvention, the loneliness of building a business alone, and why sharing what you know , instead of guarding it, is what real growth looks like.

  • Episode #46 Meet Diane Brennan
    2026/07/26

In today's episode, I'm joined by the wonderful Diane Brennan,

Diane is a nutritionist, personal trainer, and owner of Chapter U Coaching based in Airside, Swords.

Diane's story is one so many of us will relate to. She spent 17 years in a sedentary insurance job, developed chronic shoulder pain that was absolutely debilitating, and eventually discovered the life-changing power of strength training and mobility work, which not only got her pain free but completely transformed her life and career.

Now, Diane runs her own private, appointment-only studio, a calm, sensory friendly space with no mirrors, no phones, and absolutely no egos, designed specifically so women can show up, feel safe, and just be.

In this conversation, we talk about:

    • Exercise in midlife — why "something is always better than nothing" and why the all-or-nothing mindset is holding so many of us back
    • The pressure women feel to run 5Ks, do HIIT, and keep up with everyone on Instagram.. and why you absolutely don't have to
    • Stress and pain — the deeply connected relationship between the two, and how managing stress has to come first
    • Starting slow and building confidence — how Diane works with women in their 40s who have never trained before
    • The "all or something" approach — one session a week still counts.

Whether you're returning to exercise after years away, struggling with consistency, or just feeling overwhelmed by the fitness world, this episode is for you. 💛
