Chris and I are finally filming in our new house, and we’re jumping into a spicy one: how I can be against feminism without being “anti-woman”—and why the internet makes this conversation so unbelievably messy. We talk about the tradwife movement hitting “aesthetic + brand” status (including a major tradwife influencer divorce story), the way some men weaponize “submission” for control, and why the manosphere’s version of “traditional” is basically a total inversion of sacrificial, Christian masculinity.

I suck at homemaking.

Or at least, I used to.

For years, I would see an overflowing trash can, a sink full of dishes, or a mountain of laundry and somehow…still not do anything about it. And every homemaking system I tried seemed to be designed by someone who was already naturally good at this stuff.

So what do you do if you actually WANT to care for your home well…but organization, cleaning, routines, and maintenance just don’t come naturally to you?

Well, after 5 years of marriage, I’ve finally figured out how to make homemaking work with my more creative, Type B brain instead of constantly trying to turn myself into a Type A person (news flash: it doesn't work).

We’re talking procrastination stations, the “container rule,” decluttering without destroying your entire house in the process, and why the real answer is less about finding the perfect hack and more about building simple rhythms you can actually maintain.

Your home doesn’t have to be perfect.

You just need to learn how to steward what you have...even if you kind of suck at it right now.

The word "toxic" is thrown around SO often these days.

And it's usually directed toward other people in a mean-spirited, judgemental way.

In the interest of turning our reflection on ourselves instead of others, I thought today we'd talk about issues common to women...things that may make us, well, toxic.

Now I'm obviously not condemning or shaming us, but I do think it's important to turn our gaze on ourselves instead of others, while asking the Lord if there is anything hiding within us that we can offer to Him for purifying and healing.

Are some churches too emotional?

Are others too rigid?

Yes and yes.

We are to worship God in spirit and truth. BOTH sides of this argument have something the other needs. The challenge is not to pick one side at the expense of the other.

It's so important that we tune our entire beings to be able to experience God with mind, body, and spirit.
