SCENE: As Sen. Tammy Baldwin makes her way through a sea of reporters the day after the Wisconsin election Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo is the first to greet her as she exits the underground Senate tram and makes her way to a bank of elevators underneath the US Senate.

Tammy Baldwin: “$27 million, I think, is how much he spent a throughline to influence the outcome of this race…”

Custodians come through with a heavy and loud cart.
