Sabalenka plays well to beat an in form Elise Mertens in straight sets, setting up an unexpected clash with Laura Siegmund who got the better of the lucky loser Solana Sierra.
SET 2:
Cam Norrie beats Jarry in 5 to set up a Quarter-final clash with Carlos Alcaraz in a few days time as Fritz advances courtesy of a retirement from Thompson in the 2nd set to book a spot in the Quarters against Khachanov who was played some ruthless tennis to beat the crafty Kamil Majchrzak in a comfortable straight setter!
