  • 12 Eben Muse & Gerwyn Jones yn trafod Eifionydd
    2021/11/19

Ardal yng Ngogledd-Orllewin Cymru, yn estyn o Ddwyrain Llŷn yr holl ffordd i Borthmadog, (ac efallai y tu hwnt, dibynnu pwy sy’n cael eu holi) ydi Eifionydd. Mae’r Afon Erch yn ffin Orllewinol iddi. Mae Moel Hebog, Moel y Gest, Moel Lefn a Moel yr Ogof yn rai o’r copaon di-ri sydd werth ymweld â nhw yno.

Yn gyfarwydd iawn i ddringwyr diolch i glogwyni poblogaidd Tremadog, mae’na lawer i’w gynnig hefyd i’r rheini sydd well ganddynt gerdded, a thrwy gydol y cyfweliad yma, mae cariad Gerwyn at yr ardal yn disgleirio. Ynddo, mae hefyd yn rhannu pam ei bod hi’n ystyrlon iddo rannu delweddau o’r ardal ynghlwm â cherddi a phenillion Cymreig (wedi eu cyfieithu er mwyn i bawb gael eu mwynhau). Rydym hefyd yn trafod llwybrau unigryw i gael gweithio yn y mynyddoedd i greu bywoliaeth, a pham fod diwylliant ac iaith yn teimlo’n hollol anwahanadwy oddi wrth yr awyr agored. Mynegai Gerwyn ei farn ar bwysigrwydd arddull gynhwysol a chynrychioladol pan mae hi’n dod at yr iaith, yn enwedig yn y diwydiant awyr agored.

“Mae’r ffaith fod yr iaith Gymraeg yna yn bwysig fel bod pobl yn ei gweld hi.. Mae’r Gymraeg yn gallu mynd ar goll”.
