  • 4 Ways we THINK we are being a "Good Christian Wife" but are actually harming our marriage.
    2025/09/13

What if I told you that some of the very things you’ve been taught make you a “good Christian wife” are actually the things quietly keeping your marriage from growing?

In this episode of Wife in Bloom, I get real about four habits I lived for years—habits that looked holy on the outside but were damaging intimacy, growth, and connection in my marriage. And girl, I don’t want you to waste the years I did believing lies that sounded spiritual but left us stagnant.

Here’s what we’re digging into today:

🌸 Silence Isn’t Submission – Why staying quiet to “keep the peace” actually creates distance, resentment, and stagnation in your marriage.
🌸 Prayer Without Participation – How I used “I’ll just pray about it” as a spiritual excuse to avoid hard conversations and real action.
🌸 Service Without Showing Up – Why equating love with chores and checklists can leave both of you feeling unseen and disconnected.
🌸 Seasons as Excuses – How waiting for life to “slow down” is a trap that steals today’s opportunities for growth and intimacy.

We’ll talk through my stories (the good, the messy, and the lessons learned), what God’s Word actually says about these things, and most importantly—what you can start doing differently today to shift your marriage from shallow and stagnant to passionate, connected, and God-centered.

💡 By the end of this episode, you’ll see that being a good Christian wife isn’t about silence, perfection, or burning yourself out in service. It’s about showing up, speaking truth in love, choosing connection, and running toward the storms of life together—with your spouse and with God.

👉 Your challenge this week: Pick one of these four areas that hits home for you and take one small, intentional step toward your spouse today. Because the season won’t slow down, but you can still choose to show up.

  • From Shame to Calling
    2025/09/06

In Part 2 of Episode 3, I share how a Matthew West concert turned into one of the most pivotal moments in my Wife in Bloom journey. For years I tried to keep my faith small—just “sprinkling” Jesus in—but God had other plans.

This podcast isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. It’s for YOU—the wife who doesn’t quite fit the mold, the woman with ADHD or anxiety who feels messy but is ready for more, and the wife who longs to bless her husband while shedding shame around intimacy.

I’ll also give you a peek at what’s coming next: interviews, a private community, digital tools, and some exciting merch down the road.

If you’ve ever wrestled with shame or questioned your calling, this episode will encourage you to stop playing small and step boldly into who God created you to be.

  • Gratitude over Grumbling
    2025/08/30

What if your next family trip didn’t have to feel like chaos, stress, and one long complaint reel? In this episode, I’m sharing how one camping trip + state fair adventure could have been a total meltdown—but instead turned into a memory I’ll cherish forever—all because of mindset.

I’ll walk you through the very real moments that used to send me spiraling—forgetting things, traffic, bad weather, long lines, even a 30-minute Taco Bell run gone wrong—and how choosing excitement, gratitude, and presence over anxiety and negativity literally changed everything for me and my family.

We’ll talk about the science of neuroplasticity (your brain really can be rewired), the scriptures that prove God’s been teaching us this all along, and how the fruit of gratitude shows up in your marriage, your kids, and even your body.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a cycle of complaining or anxiety, this is your reminder that joy is always a choice—and when you choose it, your whole reality shifts.

  • "Godfidence: Shifting Your Self-Image to Align with God's Truth"
    2025/08/23

    🌸 Episode 2: Godfidence — Shifting Your Self-Image to Align With God’s Truth 🌸
Do you ever look in the mirror and hear nothing but criticism? Do you catch yourself dismissing compliments, comparing yourself to others, or believing lies about your worth? Girl, you are not alone—but you also don’t have to stay there.
In this episode of the Wife in Bloom podcast, I’m sharing how shifting my self-image to align with how God sees me completely transformed my life, my marriage, my motherhood, and my faith. We’ll talk about:
✨ Why insecurity is actually disobedience when it contradicts God’s Word
✨ How self-image and self-talk impact intimacy and connection in marriage
✨ What changed when I decided to walk in confidence as a daughter of the King
✨ How my ADHD and imposter syndrome used to keep me stuck in shame cycles—and how positive self-image broke the pattern
✨ Practical steps (with Scripture!) to renew your mind and walk in true Godfidence
💡 Key takeaway: The most powerful thing you can do today to change your life forever is shift your mindset about yourself. When you finally agree with God about who you are, it sets you free to live boldly, love deeply, and bloom fully.
🙌 Don’t forget your mirror homework at the end of this episode—I promise, it will change the way you speak to yourself.

  • From Broken to Blooming
    2025/08/14

I used to believe I was broken.

At over 330 pounds, drowning in anxiety, ashamed of my body, and paralyzed by ADHD, I couldn’t even pick up the phone to make an appointment. My house was messy, my brain was messier, and I lived every day under the weight of negative self-talk and shame. I smiled for everyone else, but inside? I felt like a disaster.

And that shame followed me everywhere — into my marriage, into intimacy, into my faith. I prayed the lights would stay off in the bedroom. I believed my husband’s compliments were just pity. I looked in the mirror and heard the same voice every single day: “You’re not enough.”

For years, I believed that voice. I believed I was too far gone to ever change.

But one small question changed my life: What if I’ve been wrong about me?

That tiny thought was the beginning of a completely different journey — a journey of tearing down lies, rebuilding confidence, and letting God show me the truth of who He created me to be.

Today, I’m living proof that transformation is possible. I’m no longer ashamed, anxious, or hiding from life. I’m healthy, confident, chasing huge dreams, walking closely with Christ… and yes, even bold enough to talk about sex on the internet (not because I want to, but because God called me to).

This episode is where it all begins. You’ll hear the raw truth of who I was, the pain I carried, the turning point that shifted everything, and the steps that led me to become a wife in bloom.

If you’ve ever felt too broken, too insecure, or too ashamed to believe change is possible — this is your invitation to see yourself differently. To start small. To grab hold of the truth that God has more for you.

Because girl, if He can do it in me, He can do it in you.

Hit play on Episode 1 and find out how I overcame… and how you can too.
