  • Family Matters Series: Special Needs Diagnosis
    2023/10/17

Marriage, parenting … LIFE is met with unmet expectations and things just turning out differently than you have planned.

I’m beside myself to introduce you to one of my greatest role models and inspirations when it comes to choosing joy in the hard, my DEAREST friend, Andrea Mitchell.

Andrea had a typical pregnancy, typical birth, but was met with an atypical diagnosis 24 hours after having her first child, Ella.

Andrea beautifully shares the good, the hard, the SWEET of raising Ella, as well as sons Will and Jon with husband, Joe. She also offers encouragement and perspective for other special need families and their support communities.

    I hope you’ll listen in!

Want more from Andrea?  Enjoy daily encouragement and real life on the topic from Andrea by connecting on Instagram at @AndreaEMitchell.

  • This Is Us: A Blended Fam
    2023/10/10

Divorce is horrible and scary and just not the way it was meant to be. Full stop.

It truly feels like the break down of everything sacred: your home, reputation, finances, family and dreams of your future too.

But after all the terrible, there CAN be a piecing back together of something beautiful.

Eli and I got married when my three littles were 5, 7, and 8. And five years later, we welcomed a baby that bridged the whole fam together. In this episode I talk to Eli about his perspective throughout the journey. I’m so happy to share our story. This is us.
