Mashah then reminds Yashar'Al to observe Yahuah's appointed times—Phasach and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths. The reading concludes with instructions to appoint judges who judge the people with righteous judgment and show no partiality.

He reminds them of the mighty works they themselves witnessed and sets before them blessing for obedience and a curse for turning away. As Yashar'Al prepares to cross the Yardan, they are commanded to destroy the places where the nations served their mighty ones and to seek the place Yahuah chooses for His name. Mashah warns the people not to imitate the worship of the nations. The reading concludes with instructions for testing those who attempt to lead Yashar'Al away from Yahuah, even when signs occur or the invitation comes from someone close to them, and commands the people to remain faithful to Yahuah alone.

As they prepare to enter a good and abundant land, they are warned not to forget Yahuah when they become satisfied and prosperous or believe their own strength produced their wealth. Mashah then reminds the people that they are not receiving the land because of their own righteousness and recounts their rebellion at Churab, the golden calf, and his intercession before Yahuah. He recalls receiving the two tablets again and the setting apart of the tribe of Luy. The reading concludes with Mashah calling Yashar'Al to fear Yahuah, walk in all His ways, love Him, serve Him, and guard His commands.

Mashah then calls the people to hear that Yahuah is one and commands them to love Yahuah with all their heart, being, and might. His Words are to remain upon their hearts and be taught diligently to their children. Yashar'Al is warned not to forget Yahuah when they enter the land and receive houses, fields, and provisions they did not establish for themselves. Mashah also instructs them concerning the nations in Kanan, warning against their mighty ones and reminding Yashar'Al that Yahuah chose them to be a set-apart people and faithfully keeps His covenant.

The territories east of the Yardan are given to Ra'uban, Gad, and half the tribe of Manashah, while Yahusha is encouraged concerning the battles still ahead. Mashah recalls his request to cross the Yardan and see the good land, but Yahuah tells him he will not cross over. Mashah then calls Yashar'Al to listen carefully to Yahuah's laws and right-rulings, neither adding to nor taking away from His Word. He reminds them of what they witnessed at Churab, warns them against idolatry, and calls them to seek Yahuah and walk in His instructions. The reading concludes with Mashah setting apart three cities of refuge east of the Yardan.

Today's reading begins in the plains beyond the Yardan as Mashah speaks to Yashar'Al and recounts their journey from Mount Churab. He recalls the appointment of leaders to help bear the burden of judging the people, the sending of men to search out the land of Kanan, and the rebellion that followed their report. Because the people refused to trust Yahuah, that generation was sentenced to remain in the wilderness until it passed away. Mashah then recounts Yashar'Al's years around Mount Shayr and Yahuah's commands concerning the descendants of Ashu, Mu'ab, and Amun. The reading concludes as Yashar'Al defeats Sychun, king of Chashbun, and begins taking possession of the land east of the Yardan.

In today's gathering, we conclude our journey through Bamadbar (Numbers) with Chapters 35–36.

Today's reading begins with Yahuah commanding Yashar'Al to give the Luym cities to dwell in, along with surrounding pasturelands. Six of these are appointed as cities of refuge, providing a place for someone who kills another unintentionally to flee until judgment is made before the congregation. Yahuah gives instructions distinguishing accidental killing from murder and establishes requirements concerning witnesses, judgment, and bloodshed in the land. The book concludes with the heads of the family of Galad raising a concern about the inheritance of the daughters of Tsalaphchad. Yahuah establishes that daughters who inherit land are to marry within their father's tribe so that each tribe's inheritance remains with it.

Today's reading recounts the stages of Yashar'Al's journey from their departure out of Matsrayim through the wilderness to the plains of Mu'ab by the Yardan. Yahuah commands the people concerning what they are to do when they cross into the land of Kanan, including driving out its inhabitants and destroying their objects of worship. Yahuah then gives Mashah the boundaries of the land that Yashar'Al is to receive as an inheritance. The reading concludes with the appointment of Alazar, Yahusha son of Nun, and leaders from the tribes who are responsible for dividing the land among the children of Yashar'Al.
