Welcome to Daily Gathering.
In today's gathering, we continue our journey through Dabarym (Deuteronomy) Chapters 14–16.
Today's reading begins with Mashah reminding Yashar'Al that they are a set-apart people unto Yahuah and giving instructions concerning clean and unclean animals. Yahuah then gives instructions concerning the tithe and providing for the Luym, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. The reading continues with the release of debts in the seventh year, generosity toward the poor, the release of Hebrew servants, and the setting apart of firstborn animals. Mashah then reminds Yashar'Al to observe Yahuah's appointed times—Phasach and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths. The reading concludes with instructions to appoint judges who judge the people with righteous judgment and show no partiality.
