🎩 A struggling mixology podcast. A mysterious man with a pocket watch. And a sip of something… otherworldly.
When Lauren accidentally invites a 19th-century gentleman into her studio, things take a turn for the boozy. Meet Anthony Hardy—eccentric, eloquent, and possibly undead—as he begins to recount the extraordinary origins of Hardy Cognac.
Pour yourself something aged and aromatic: the story of cognac just got weird, bold… and delightfully French.
Subscribe to follow the journey from burnt wine to divine spirit, one glass (and ghost) at a time.
About the show
Welcome to Lauren & Hardy, a fictional comedy podcast that follows Lauren Duplessis, a struggling mixologist and Brooklyn-based podcaster, who accidentally teams up with a very enthusiastic (and possibly undead) 19th-century gentleman: Anthony Hardy, founder of the historic Maison Hardy Cognac.
Together, they dive into the wild, weird, and surprisingly dramatic world of cognac history, French terroir, family legacies, and legendary spirits—all told through witty banter and a soundscape so rich you can practically smell the oak barrels.

About Hardy Cognac
Cognac Hardy's history stretches back over 160 years, making it one of the oldest cognac houses in the Charente region. Founded in 1863 by Anthony Hardy, a visionary with a passion for the art of distillation, Hardy quickly gained a reputation for the exceptional quality of its cognacs. Born through a genuine love for France, Hardy awakens Cognac and defends the French artisanal genius, abroad.
