The continued survival of the Matoran is crucial to the Bionicle universe, and this postulate is tested rigorously as Makuta threatens to enslave the Matoran time and again. In this episode, we learn about the Matoran race in general and get introduced to specific Matoran who were important during the story on Mata Nui.
