This week, we are joined by Dr. Anne Morris and Jennifer Gaudreau to talk about their work with Vermont's Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program. Dr. Morris is the Associate Dean for Primary Care and AHEC Associate Professor of Family Medicine here at the Larner College of Medicine, but shares her personal experiences of practicing medicine in Vermont and why she values being here. Jennifer Gaudreau, a lifelong Vermonter, is a Physician Placement Professional at Vermont AHEC and shares the behind the scenes of how she gets doctors to locations that fit best with their goals. We hope you enjoy our conversation about what it is like to be a physician in Vermont, what it takes to recruit physicians here, and what the AHEC Program does to bolster the medical community in Vermont and across the country.
