このコンテンツについて
In this episode of Radically Alive Women, Joydah Mae Bernardo shares her journey as a mother, voice artist, and heart-led leader in a conversation with Julia Neumann.
Joydah was born in the Philippines and raised in a village by her grandmother.
The conversation covers her powerful presence in music, her story of moving to New Zealand at the age of 17, and the motivations that drive how she shows up in her life and with her music.
Joydah shares about the deep connections between music, consciousness, and indigenous wisdom, and how these elements contribute to community building and personal healing. She also reflects on her experiences with cultural expectations, reclamation of her power, and her upbringing in a village with many mothers, as well as the shadows of village.
The episode includes a guided humming exercise as a means of voice activation.
