    A little child is the perfect picture of how we should be with our heavenly Father. Their faith and dependency on their Father is how we should be with God. By contrast, the rich, young, ruler was dependent on his money for security and could not look to God for all his needs. The faith and trust of a child receives the kingdom of God but the lack of trust and faith prevents our acceptance of the kingdom.
