Are you a Doubting Thomas? I am…..sometimes. Why did Thomas doubt others had seen Christ in person after the resurrection? Was it fear, was it envy that he missed it, was it guilt for not being there? We probably will never know for certain.
What we do know he said he would not believe unless he came face to face with Jesus and put his fingers in the nail wounds and his hand into the His side.
How often are we like Thomas and doubt others, ourselves, our circumstances our options to cast away our doubts? Do we pull a Thomas and demand proof - even if it is actually good news? Do we say, screw it and walk away?
Today was a really tough day and I came to some clarity on the matter.
