  • Fear To Faith: A Story of Survival and Self-Discovery through Spirituality with Tina Weiss (Episode #164)
    2026/08/27
In this powerful episode of Vision Beyond Sight, Dr. Lynn Hellerstein sits down with Tina Weiss—author, entrepreneur, visionary, consultant, and philanthropist—to talk about her book Fear to Faith, a story of survival and self-discovery through spirituality, telling her own experiences of traumatic events that left her stranded in a foreign country, and eventually turning that pain into purpose. Tina shares how she lost her identity twice. Leading up to the COVID pandemic, she was forced to cancel a major charity event while dealing with health challenges and her father’s declining health, and altogether leaving her overwhelmed and feeling that she lost her identity emotionally. In 2024, she sought respite in Europe but instead was robbed twice in Italy, losing her identification, money, and credit cards—leaving her robbed of her identity physically as well. Facing fear and uncertainty, Tina turned to faith, courage, and prayer, ultimately transforming her experiences into her book. Her experiences may be wild, but they reflect the struggles that people—especially women—face with trauma and loss of self. Tina encourages us to listen to our hearts, rediscover our inner child, and choose how we respond to life’s challenges. Her message is simple but powerful: we can move from pain to purpose, trauma to triumph, and fear to faith. “My journey. Your mirror.” Dr. Lynn Hellerstein, Developmental Optometrist, co-owner of Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center, P.C., award-winning author and international speaker, holds powerful and inspiring conversations with her guests in the areas of health, wellness, education, sports and psychology. • Whispers of Color: Finding Hue Within You and Seeing Colors in a Different Way with Sue Elizabeth Lee (Episode #162)
    2026/07/30
In this colorful episode of Vision Beyond Sight, Dr. Lynn Hellerstein welcomes Sue Elizabeth Lee – artist, poet, and cofounder of the Sock It To Em Sock Campaign – to talk about her delightful book Whispers of Color. Sue shares her incredible story of how she started to wake up in the middle of the night and write poems about specific colors. Realizing her descriptions relate to her memories and life moments, she continued writing during the day and even invented color names like “Faded Blue Jeans.” Her work eventually turned into a collection of poems about 52 colors! Later on, her words inspired the late musician to Animal Planet and her good friend Chris Hewitt to compose music for every poem and see “what those colors sound like.” Along with Sue’s narration of every poem, Whispers of Color became a multisensory experience. Her hope is for every reader to find stillness and reflection in experiencing every color, much like when we pause and marvel at a rainbow in the sky. At the age of 77, Sue reminds us to never give up on our dreams. It is with ourselves that we will live with for the rest of our lives so we owe it to us to take courage and find the way to make our dreams work, especially in these times when it is easier to connect with people and utilize technology, even AI. Sue inspires us to see colors – and life – in a different way. What if color weren’t a color? The answer could surprise “hue.” Dr. Lynn Hellerstein, Developmental Optometrist, co-owner of Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center, P.C., award-winning author and international speaker, holds powerful and inspiring conversations with her guests in the areas of health, wellness, education, sports and psychology. 2026/05/28
It’s Dr. Lynn Hellerstein’s birthday week! Our beloved host is celebrating 74 years of healing, transformation, and inspiring others through the power of vision, spirituality, and personal growth. In this episode, Dr. Lynn reflects how the lesson of letting go (a topic she has discussed in an earlier podcast) is an ongoing journey. This time, she is inspired by the idea of “breaking the habit of being myself,” as she shares her ongoing journey of releasing perfectionism, anxiety, negative self-talk, and fear through courage, community, love, and trust in the Divine. Dr. Lynn discusses the importance of intention, hope, love, and “kesher,” the Hebrew word for deep heartfelt connection. Through keynote speaking, mentoring, podcasting, visualization experiences, and her work as a RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory) Facilitator, she remains committed to expanding people’s vision and helping them transform their lives. She shares how her RIM journey began more than 20 years ago after being diagnosed with a colon tumor, leading her through deep personal healing work. Since January 2026, she has been helping clients improve decision-making, release emotional and physical stress, resolve conflict, and neutralize painful memories. As part of her birthday celebration, she is offering listeners a free RIM session with the request that they donate to a favorite charity. The conversation also explores spirituality, meditation, energy healing, and the influence of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work on changing thought patterns and emotional responses. Dr. Lynn reflects on recent spiritual time spent in San Miguel, Mexico, and shares how focusing on love instead of fear can transform your energy and your life. Listeners are encouraged to reflect on what they truly love, what stories or limitations they are ready to release, and what they want to create next in life. As Dr. Lynn reminds us, when you let go of worry and negative self-talk, amazing opportunities often appear. Sometimes what feels like an ending is actually the beginning of something new.
