    Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings dropped their wild card weekend matchup against the Los Angeles Rams 27-9 down in Glendale, AZ. The Rams jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter and the Vikings were chasing the scoreboard all night. Sam Darnold was under duress throughout the game, taking 9 sacks in the contest. He ended with 245 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and threw an interception. The Vikings finished with 106 rushing yards, led by Aaron Jones with 48 yards of his own. T.J. Hockenson led the receiving group with 5 receptions for 64 yards and a receiving touchdown late in the 3rd quarter. Kicker Will Reichard converted his lone field goal attempt in the second quarter from 34 yards out. Defensively, Blake Cashman and Andrew Van Ginkel notched the two Vikings sacks on the night.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings dropped their regular season finale 31-9 at Ford Field in Detroit. It was tough sledding all night, with the Vikings Offense only generating 262 yards on 62 plays. Cam Akers led the running game with 65 yards on the ground and Justin Jefferson had 54 yards on 3 receptions. Will Reichard connected on 3-of-4 field goal attempts on the night. Defensively, the guys made some big plays, forcing 2 turnovers, including: Harrison Smith's second quarter interception and Ivan Pace's early pick in the third quarter. Jonathan Greenard and Jonathan Bullard both had a sack in the game and Ivan Pace Jr. led the team with 10 total tackles. The Vikings will return home and flip their sights to their Wild Card Weekend matchup at Sofi Stadium versus the Rams on Monday Night Football on January 13th.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings continued their winning ways by beating the Green Bay Packers 27-25 in their regular season home finale at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Packers scored first on a 49-yard field goal by McManus, but the Vikings took over from there. The Vikings outscored the Packers 27-7 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but the Packers made it interesting with two 4th quarter touchdowns to cut the lead to 2. The Vikings closed out the game with a 7 play, 24-yard drive to run out the clock. Sam Darnold finished 33-of-43 passing for 377 yards, 3 touchdowns, and a pick. Justin Jefferson notched 100 receptions on the season with an 8 reception game for 92 yards. Jalen Nailor also had a great night with 5 receptions for 81 yards and the opening touchdown of the game. Cam Akers and Jordan Addison caught the other touchdown passes from Darnold on Sunday. Aaron Jones led the Vikings on the ground with 12 carries for 47 yards. Kicker Will Reichard went 2 of 4 on field goals and 3 of 3 on PAT's. Defensively, the Vikings got 3 combined sacks from Andrew Van Ginkel, Blake Cashman, and Dallas Turner.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings won their 8th game in a row by defeating the Seattle Seahawks 27-24 at a rainy Lumen Field. The win was the Vikings first victory in Seattle since week 7 of the 2006 season. Justin Jefferson had a season high 144 receiving yards on 10 receptions and 2 touchdowns. Jordan Addison had the other receiving touchdown on 5 receptions and 35 yards. Aaron Jones was a key part of the offense with 18 rushes, 67 yards on the ground, and another 26 yards through the air. Sam Darnold had another great game, finishing with 246 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and a 112.3 QBR. Darnold tied Peyton Manning and Steve McNair by winning his 13th game as a quarterback in the first season with a new team. Kicker Will Reichard was perfect again today with 3 extra points and 2 field goals, including a 52 yarder in the 2nd quarter. As for the defense, the guys stepped up the pressure in the 2nd half and only gave up 10 points on 6 drives for the Seahawks. The Vikings running game proved to be the spark the Vikings offense needed, finished with 114 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. Aaron Jones led the way with 86 yards and a 1-yard plunge, while Cam Akers provided another 24 yards and a 1-yard score. Jones touchdown was his 50th of his career.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings made a statement against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday with a 42-21 win at U.S. Bank Stadium. Sam Darnold was on fire today. Darnold finished the game 22-of-28 passing, had 347 yards in the air, and 5 touchdowns split between Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson. Darnold almost had a perfect QBR when he finished with a 157.9 on the day. Justin Jefferson became the fastest player to 7,000+ yards in his career and ended the day with 7 receptions for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jordan Addison also had a monster day, finishing with 133 yards in the air and 3 touchdowns. Aaron Jones was the leading rusher for the Vikings, finished with 73 yards on the ground, and hit paydirt for 15 yards for the final score of the game.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings continued their winning ways and defeated the Arizona Cardinals 23-22 on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings and Cardinals traded field goals throughout the first half and the Cardinals took a 12-6 lead in the 3rd quarter on a Chad Ryland 40-yard field goal. The Cardinals extended their lead to 19-6 on a Marvin Harrison Jr. touchdown deep into the 3rd quarter, but then it was Minnesota's turn. The Vikings offense came alive on a 70-yard drive and Johnny Mundt capped it off with a 6-yard touchdown in 3:20. The Vikings and Cardinals traded field goals once again and the Vikings again went 70 yards and hit Aaron Jones for a 5-yard touchdown pass to take the lead for good. Shaquill Griffin sealed the game for the Vikings on a 4th down interception with 0:40 left in the 4th quarter. Sam Darnold finished the game 21-of-31 for 235 yards passing, 2 passing touchdowns, and 22 yards rushing. Darnold, Aaron Jones, and Cam Akers all finished with 22 yards rushing.     Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings extended their winning streak and knocked off the Bears 30-27 in another crazy game at Soldier Field on Sunday. The Vikings and Bears ended the first half with the Bears hitting a field goal at the whistle to cut the Vikings lead to 14-10 after both Jordan Addison and Jalen Nailor found the endzone in the first half for the Vikings. The Vikings extended their lead in the 2nd half to 24-10 and went into the 4th quarter seemingly in control. The Bears fought back with scores from D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen to bring the game within 3 points. The Bears recovered an onside kick within the final minute of regulation and converted a Cairo Santos field goal to send the game to overtime. Both teams possessed the ball in overtime, but the Vikings were able to march down the field and Parker Romo iced the game with a 29-yard field goal. Sam Darnold finished 22-of-34 passing for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jordan Addison had a big game with 8 receptions for 162 receiving yards and a touchdown. T.J. Hockenson also had a big game with 114 receiving yards, respectively. Aaron Jones eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark by finishing with 106 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
