  • A Murder In A Small Town With Cynthia Herbert Bruschi Adams
    2025/10/10

In this chilling episode, I sit down with psychologist-author Cynthia Herbert-Bruschi Adams to navigate the harrowing story behind First He Killed the Minuteman

We trace Peter Manfredonia’s 2020 rampage — from a brutal samurai sword attack in a quiet Connecticut neighborhood, to a terrifying home invasion in which a man was held hostage in his own basement, to the murder of a childhood friend and the kidnapping of his girlfriend as he dragged her across state lines.

Newly released 911 calls, body cam footage, and police interviews shed haunting light on the moments of confusion, fear, and desperation that followed each twist in the chase.

Manfredonia, a former UConn student, later admitted to being in a manic, suicidal state — scribbling cryptic messages on his walls that investigators say he couldn’t fully recall.

Throughout our conversation, Cynthia reveals never-before-heard reflections from her correspondence with Manfredonia, the emotional toll of weaving this dark narrative, and her belief that there were warning signs — red flags that might have altered this deadly path.

If you’re drawn to true crime that probes beyond the headlines unearthing motive, mental health, entropy, and the human cost — subscribe now, share this episode, and pick up this book 📖 at https://us.amazon.com/First-Killed-Minuteman-Cynthia-Herbert-Bruschi/dp/1835431992?ref_=ast_author_dp&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.qY85ftD_EbcLMgerk-YtVajxp1y4fSSWSVscH-WvGzo8s4s1tj6eoF_iDiCEjzyCWNx6neANziWSD74A4pmqhA.hZ8z-RqX0AJywSknJAM4di-f_lguaNlPCvaDHvy7Scw&dib_tag=AUTHOR

  • Red White & True: America 🇺🇸 Charlie Kirk & Country Music With Ryan Weaver
    2025/10/04

In this powerful episode, I sit down with Ryan Weaver — a former U.S. Army Black Hawk aviator turned country music artist and vocal advocate for veterans’ causes.

Born into a family of eleven in small-town Floral City, Florida, Ryan launched straight into military life after high school, ultimately graduating at the top of his flight class to become a Chief Warrant Officer 3.

Ryan served in Iraq in 2003, alongside his brother Aaron, who months later died in action when a medevac Black Hawk was shot down — a loss Ryan calls the turning point in his life.

A decade later, his brother-in-law, CW2 Randy Billings, was also killed while piloting a Black Hawk in Afghanistan, making the Weaver family a two-time Gold Star family.

After Aaron’s death, Ryan never flew another Black Hawk.

Instead, he served as an instructor, helping shape the next generation of Army aviators — and began channeling his grief into his music.

Upon retiring from the Army, he moved to Nashville and doubled down on his musical mission.

Ryan’s music blends high-energy country storytelling with patriotic fervor.

He’s shared stages with legends like Charlie Daniels, performed on the Grand Ole Opry (including a poignant Sept. 11 hometown tribute), and been named the Patriotic Voice of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) in their Celebrate America campaign.

His EP Celebrate America features “Never Forgotten,” a tribute to fallen soldiers, first responders, and his own family’s sacrifices.

In this conversation, Ryan opens up about survivor’s guilt, spiritual and emotional healing, defining his mission beyond service, and how faith, purpose, and music have become his compass.
