The College World Series championship is set with Oklahoma taking on North Carolina starting Saturday in Omaha and we run through how both teams got there.

On the local front the Norfolk City Council approved an ordinance establishing the framework for an entertainment district downtown despite some pushback from council members and residents who wanted more public discussion first. The verse they chose is the one where God creates the rainbow as a symbol of his covenant with creation after Noah's flood. The players said there was no hate behind it. MLB said it was a uniform violation. JD Vance posted Trump won we don't have to do this anymore. Senator Josh Hawley sent a letter to the commissioner demanding answers. Florida and Missouri attorney generals are threatening legal action. It is a full blown national story and we get into every angle of it.

We also touch on California pressuring public utilities to award 633 million dollars in contracts specifically to LGBT owned businesses with an LGBTQ checklist required to qualify.
