このコンテンツについて
I thought we would examine the various developmental stages of athletes and the approaches a coach may apply when teaching various age groupings in basketball.
While approaches shared are based on age groups, I need to remind coaches people develop at different paces and age should only be a guide.
This episode I briefly outline the 5 key attributes we need to evolve and develop as human beings over the course of our lives.
Understanding these attributes helps us better recognize the important role coaches play not only in athletic development, but in human development as well.
I share my experience of working with players aged 4 to 25 and even older so you may consider the methods I have applied to different groups over the years as an example.
Thanks for joining me, I am Craig A. Rowe, the head coach at OzSwoosh Academy in Australia, I have over 30 years coaching experience including close to 2 decades of helping beginner coaches and teachers attain their club coach accreditation in Australia.
Thanks for being here, we are nearing the end of Season 1 of the Coach Approach, if you are looking for more basketball content to help you grow as a coach and improve your team, be sure to visit my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ozswoosh
