The tribes of Israel were not all carried off to the same place or all at once. There are records of invasions and migrations and we can trace the changes in the names of these groups throughout history. The northward and westward migrations led to a dominance of Europe, the formation of England, and ultimately a spreading around the world, fulfilling the prophecies of God's scattered people. God bestowed a blessing of a prophecy on Jacob’s undeserving son, Judah: the giving or keeping of the law, and the right to rule until Shiloh comes.
