  • Episode 135: Jon Paul Crimi: From Trauma to Sobriety to Taking a Breath in Hollywood
    2026/07/30

Jon Paul Crimi is a Breathwork pioneer known for his zero filter East Coast edge and his ability to make deep transformation practical, powerful, and accessible. With more than a decade and a half of experience, he has helped redefine modern Breathwork by stripping away the overly mystical tone and replacing it with grounded, results driven work that speaks to skeptics, leaders, and everyday people alike.

Originally from Boston, Jon Paul moved to Los Angeles in his early twenties and quickly became one of the most sought after celebrity trainers and sobriety coaches in the country. He worked with Oscar and Grammy winners, Olympic gold medalists, top studio executives, and industry leaders.

It was through his dear friend Matthew Perry that Jon Paul was first introduced to Breathwork. The experience was profound and life altering. He immersed himself in the practice, developed his own distinct style, and soon began selling out classes across Los Angeles.

Jon Paul’s work focuses on emotional regulation, resilience, and trauma integration. Participants often describe their first experience as feeling like decades of therapy without saying a word. His ability to combine intensity, humor, and psychological depth has made him especially effective with entrepreneurs, creatives, executives, and those navigating major life transitions.

Jon Paul has worked with major companies including Nike and LinkedIn, bringing Breathwork into corporate environments through customized workshops and retreats. He has also led in person and online teacher training certifications, mentoring the next generation of facilitators.

His work has been featured at the HEAL Hay House Summit and recognized by major media outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, LA Magazine, Good Morning America, and numerous international podcasts. Jon Paul’s clientele ranges from CEOs and founders to professional athletes and award winning artists.

Leaders often seek him out for his no nonsense delivery and measurable impact. He believes Breathwork should not be reserved for the spiritual elite but made accessible to anyone willing to do the work.

Now based in Bend, Oregon with his wife and two children, Jon Paul continues his mission to bring Breathwork into the mainstream and help people move from rock bottom to mastery using the most overlooked tool they already possess: their breath.

  • Episode 136. Zolal Habibi: Her Father's Legacy, Her Life's Fight & Hope for Iran
    2026/08/06

Zolal Habibi is an Iranian human rights activist and a prominent voice for justice, democracy, and women's rights in Iran. She serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), where she advocates globally for a secular, democratic republic in Iran. With over two decades of dedicated activism, she has become a fierce advocate on behalf of the voiceless inside Iran, regularly appearing in international forums, human rights conferences, and live broadcasts across major media platforms.

Zolal's activism began in her teens, profoundly shaped by the loss of her father—a respected Iranian writer and political dissident—who was killed by the regime during the 1988 massacre. This personal tragedy ignited a lifelong commitment to ensuring that no other family suffers such loss, and that the voices of Iran's political prisoners, dissidents, and freedom-seekers are heard on the world stage.
