  • Episode 135: Jon Paul Crimi: From Trauma to Sobriety to Taking a Breath in Hollywood
    2026/07/30

Jon Paul Crimi is a Breathwork pioneer known for his zero filter East Coast edge and his ability to make deep transformation practical, powerful, and accessible. With more than a decade and a half of experience, he has helped redefine modern Breathwork by stripping away the overly mystical tone and replacing it with grounded, results driven work that speaks to skeptics, leaders, and everyday people alike.

Originally from Boston, Jon Paul moved to Los Angeles in his early twenties and quickly became one of the most sought after celebrity trainers and sobriety coaches in the country. He worked with Oscar and Grammy winners, Olympic gold medalists, top studio executives, and industry leaders.

It was through his dear friend Matthew Perry that Jon Paul was first introduced to Breathwork. The experience was profound and life altering. He immersed himself in the practice, developed his own distinct style, and soon began selling out classes across Los Angeles.

Jon Paul’s work focuses on emotional regulation, resilience, and trauma integration. Participants often describe their first experience as feeling like decades of therapy without saying a word. His ability to combine intensity, humor, and psychological depth has made him especially effective with entrepreneurs, creatives, executives, and those navigating major life transitions.

Jon Paul has worked with major companies including Nike and LinkedIn, bringing Breathwork into corporate environments through customized workshops and retreats. He has also led in person and online teacher training certifications, mentoring the next generation of facilitators.

His work has been featured at the HEAL Hay House Summit and recognized by major media outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, LA Magazine, Good Morning America, and numerous international podcasts. Jon Paul’s clientele ranges from CEOs and founders to professional athletes and award winning artists.

Leaders often seek him out for his no nonsense delivery and measurable impact. He believes Breathwork should not be reserved for the spiritual elite but made accessible to anyone willing to do the work.

Now based in Bend, Oregon with his wife and two children, Jon Paul continues his mission to bring Breathwork into the mainstream and help people move from rock bottom to mastery using the most overlooked tool they already possess: their breath.

She serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), where she advocates globally for a secular, democratic republic in Iran. With over two decades of dedicated activism, she has become a fierce advocate on behalf of the voiceless inside Iran, regularly appearing in international forums, human rights conferences, and live broadcasts across major media platforms.

Zolal's activism began in her teens, profoundly shaped by the loss of her father—a respected Iranian writer and political dissident—who was killed by the regime during the 1988 massacre. This personal tragedy ignited a lifelong commitment to ensuring that no other family suffers such loss, and that the voices of Iran's political prisoners, dissidents, and freedom-seekers are heard on the world stage.

  • Episode 131. Gregory Copploe & Dani Forrest: I Am Pink, A Kauai Invitation to Your Authentic Self
    2026/01/16

Episode 131 features Gregory Koplow and Dani Forrest in a candid conversation about following the inner voice, grief, reinvention, and the co‑creation of their book I Am Pink—born from transformative trips to Kauai.

Together they explore vulnerability, curiosity, and how saying yes to life’s invitations can open new paths—from creative collaboration and paint‑and‑sip entrepreneurship to embracing a more authentic, soulful life.

Gregory Copploe is an author, business owner, artist, keynote speaker and entrepreneur. He is the CEO of the team building company Stir Up The Paint. He received his B.A. in Theatre Arts and Marketing from UCLA. A former television actor and entertainment marketing executive, Mr. Copploe mentors and supports individuals and groups looking to increase personal and professional connectivity and growth.

    www.gregorycopploe.com

Dani Forrest, a writer from about the age of eight. The earliest work consisted of incredibly optimistic, stapled-together notebook-paper books about girls who had dogs and horses and who lived in worlds where pluckiness always saved the day—and usually resulted in additional dogs and horses.

Whatever else came later, the writing part stuck. In ninth grade, an English teacher, Mr. White—who more routinely shamed her for gum-chewing and other in-class faux pas—singled her out in front of her classmates for her ability. That moment stuck too, and she remains grateful for the motivation, forgiving him for the rest.

She majored in English at Wellesley College, largely to receive credit for the reading and writing she would have done anyway. When she told her Honors Thesis professor, Jon Polito, that she planned to attend law school, he looked at her and said, “Oh, dear. I really wish you wouldn’t.”

She did. Law school happened. Actual lawyering, not so much. A few other career detours followed. Throughout it all, the writing continued—mostly in the form of journaling.

That journaling eventually inspired a book, which took shape largely after her husband passed away in 2017. The result was 52 Pickup: Life in Perfect Disorder. Published earlier but written later was I Am Pink, co-written with her friend and fellow seeker Gregory Copploe. There will be more, because writing—along with moving her body—is the one thing that keeps her from losing her mind and also brings her joy.

She lives in California with three irritable cats and a very definite sense of possibility.

  • Episode 130. Heather Ann Ferri: Finding Resilience in Tap Shoes & the Empowerment of our Wounds
    2025/12/19

Heather Ann Ferri – Author, Speaker, Healer, and Educator. Heather Ann Ferri wrote her first book, Victim to Victory (2018), in a time when she lost the ability to walk. Pen to paper, she activated her next decade of work. Hired by professionals in medicine, law, construction, and alternative healing, she found patterns. A disconnect from where the root of pain or problems was manifesting within. She had to set her World Record tap shoes aside and activate her voice and healer psychology. Heather Ann Ferri's new classroom involved her mastering eight sciences. How do you reprogram CPTSD while training your breath, voice, and mind? How can healing programs access ancestral memories for empowerment? Is resilience defined by how fast you recover or by the time spent healing the roots of the wounds? A pioneer who found herself lost in the matrix of how women had to be and work in society. Her tap shoes led her to writing off Broadway shows to empower the next generation of leaders. Her private trauma practice led her to be able to speak from authentic experience. Transcending Victim to Goddess series addresses my roots and how she healed from the shadow masculine programs. How she balanced and healed both the divine masculine and feminine within her. This series is a soul purpose to share her love for self and Mother Earth.
