このコンテンツについて
Today’s episode is a guest hosting session we did for the wonderful Trauma Therapist podcast. We again talk with trauma specialist Dr. Christie Jackson, the founder of Evolution Trauma and Wellness on New York City. Our conversation focuses on finding purpose, accepting our importance, being open to change, and going back home when your childhood environment was unhealthy.
Dr. Jackson formerly served as the Director of the PTSD Clinic at the Manhattan VA Medical Center. She has extensive training in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders, and has published articles and book chapters and presented widely in the area of traumatic stress. She offers great insight into the role trauma can play in the development of Type C patterns.
