This week, we look at the parapsychology experiment that tried to create a person out of thin air: The Phillip Experiment. In the 1970s, a group of people created a fictional character as detailed as they could. Then, using your typical ghost hunting tactics (seances, Ouija boards, etc.,) tried to bring him to life. We then look at the legend of the Tulpa, or thought being. A creature brought to life simply by belief.

This week, in what is hopefully the last of the mandatory supercut releases, we go back the dark days of the Satanic Panic. In this episode we look at the beginning of the Panic in America: The Salem Witch Trials.

We return to the seedy streets of Chicago to go deeper into depravity with America's First Serial Killer. This week, we look at his capture and the conspiracy theory that Holmes may have actually been another famous serial killer in operation at that time: Jack the Ripper.

Deemed America's first serial killer, Holmes built an elaborate "Murder Castle" in which many visitors to the fair are presumed to have met their demise. This week, we begin our dive into the twisted world of H.H. Holmes by examining the background setting of his crimes, the 1893 World's Fair. Also known as the Columbian Exposition, the fair ran from May of 1893 to October and featured one of the most expansive examples of products and inventions we know today. From the Ferris Wheel to Cracker Jacks to the moving sidewalk, the expo was a living testament to the will of man.
