From leaving home on the little island of Trinidad and Tobago at eighteen to travel to England - her first trip abroad, to begin a learning journey. How she fell in love with pediatrics and her desire to give back and help her family and how it has shaped the person that she is today. Her decision to migrate to the U.S. to continue learning and growing!

As a young woman her Christian upbringing and the values that she learned both in School - St. Joseph Convent, St. Joseph RC, and from her Grandmother who raised her, and her mother who was always there continue to serve her well. She also shares profound advice on the need to take care of yourself because you matter!

In this episode, Tracy shares with us her work in autism and disability advocacy in Trinidad and Tobago. At this time Tracy is also living with metastatic breast cancer and shares how her strengths are helping her embrace this constraint and move through it. Her optimism, resilience, and determination have led to her own hashtag #BeingTracy.
