What do you say to someone who is suffering? Our words often fall short — but Jesus’ words never do. In Revelation 2:8–11, Christ speaks directly to a church under crushing pressure, deep poverty, and harsh persecution. To the believers in Smyrna, He says, “I know… Do not be afraid… Be faithful, and I will give you the crown of life.”

From Rome to the Red Sea to Jerusalem, Megan shares about her adventure in 6 countries reading and living the Bible. She spent 3 months travelling Israel, Egypt, Turkiye, Greece, Italy and Switzerland with YWAM to take a deep dive into the Word of God. She shares how God met her in the Garden of Gethsemane, what it likes to stand on the shores of the Red Sea, and what she learned about Jesus by walking the roads he walked. Through this journey Megan learned to read the Bible differently and the true relationship between righteousness and our actions and she’s ready to share all of her wisdom with us.

Together we’ll be exploring the seven letters to the churches in Revelation 2–3, listening for what Jesus says—not only to the churches of the first century, but also to His church today.
