Taren's Bio
Taren Darr is a proud native of the Pacific Northwest, where her love for the outdoors was shaped by growing up in a hunting and fishing family. She now carries on those traditions with her three children—her daughter Jordyn and identical twin boys, Hayden and Trask—instilling in them a passion for self-reliance, adventure, and the great outdoors.
Taren is the Director of Operations at a conservative media company based in Washington, D.C., where she manages high-impact media campaigns and partnerships for a wide range of clients. She also serves as the Oregon State Director for Women for Gun Rights, actively fighting unconstitutional gun laws and defending the rights of law-abiding citizens. She believes education is the key to preserving the Second Amendment—by introducing people to firearms through hunting, safety training, and real-world experience, we build understanding, confidence, and respect for the tools that protect our freedom.
As a Turning Point USA Ambassador, Taren uses her platform to speak boldly and inspire others to take action. When she’s not working or testifying at the Capitol, you’ll find her chasing elk with a bow, fishing with her kids, or making memories in the wild places that shaped her.-
