Jones explored music throughout high school, becoming passionate about the trumpet, and would eventually collaborate with incredible artists like Lesley Gore, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more. In 1961, he composed music for The Pawnbroker (1964), the first of his nearly 40 film scores.
