    2026/07/20

Shari Dunbar Boyer is a ceremonialist and leadership coach devoted to helping others come into alignment—with themselves, with their values, and with the sacred—through the practice of modern ceremony.

After a successful career in marketing, Shari followed a deeper calling. Her path led her through the world of herbalism, natural healing, and intentional living. Along the way, she rediscovered the transformative power of ceremony—and began weaving it into both personal and professional life.

She is the author of The Book of Modern Ceremony, a guide for anyone ready to bring meaning and ritual back into their everyday moments. Through her writing, teaching, and coaching, Shari helps individuals and leaders align with their inner wisdom, mark life’s transitions with intention, and create space for clarity, growth, and joy.

Shari lives in Altadena, California, on a suburban farm (that miraculously did not burn), with her husband, two grown sons, and two beloved dogs. She believes ceremony is both sacred and playful—and that living in alignment is the truest form of success.
