"Love your fellow as yourself. And I think that just goes to to holiness and love being intertwined in a divine way. And the way that you bring the divine into the world is by being light and being love. And a good way to do that is to know the Torah, know the Miz vote and the commandments, and live them with a sense of justice and justness in your life."

"But I live on a block where there's lots of kids, and I really want them to know that there's a house that is open to them. And for the past couple years, it's been extraordinary. You know, slowly, slowly, these kids get to know me, and they really. Excuse me. They do walk in. They walk in and they make themselves at home. And it brings them a message, obviously, that I'm okay with them being there."

  • @TheMs.Leanne | What do central Jewish prayers like the Shema mean to you in practice and on a deeper spiritual level?

"I mean, this prayer came about when Moses received the Torah and he was saying to the jewish people, Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Achad, he was telling the people to listen, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one. Because especially back then, a lot of people in the area were praying to idols and praying to golden calves, etcetera, etcetera. So it's come a long way."

"So in practice, that's where I guess I separate from what is truly about in that culture, but what it means to me on a deeper level, when that type of prayer is going forth, it wants us to make a command to love God, you know, and so I'm in agreement with that. Then it's about teaching children how to prayer. I'm. I'm good with that. And then when it says about if you obey those commands, it comes with rewards."

"Or sometimes it can be just someone giving you a phone call saying, I just was just checking on you, see how you were doing. Take heed to everything that he sends your way and it will point you towards the right direction. My spirituality definitely did point me to the right direction. I. I actually was asking questions after question after question questioning God. And no, it is not a sin to question God as long as you do it respectfully. He wants you to have a conversation with Him."
