  • Why Do We Secretly Enjoy Watching People Fail?
    2026/07/07

In this episode of To All The Girls Out There, we’re talking about something uncomfortable but important: why we’ve become so comfortable with hating, judging, and watching other people fail.

From social media comment sections to celebrity downfall culture, we explore why someone else’s success can sometimes make us feel uncomfortable and why another person’s failure can bring a strange sense of relief.

We discuss schadenfreude, the psychology behind taking pleasure in someone else’s misfortune, and unpack what’s really going on beneath comparison, jealousy, resentment, and insecurity.

    This episode dives into:

✨ Why social media has normalised hate culture
✨ The psychology of schadenfreude and comparison
✨ Why other people’s success can feel triggering
✨ How resentment and unresolved hurt can fuel negative reactions
✨ What your triggers reveal about your desires and insecurities
✨ How to shift from being a critic to becoming a supporter

  • Has Your Self-Development Journey Become Self-Destructive?
    2026/06/30

In this episode of To All The Girls Out There, we’re talking about the hidden side of personal growth, when productivity, discipline, and “becoming your best self” turn into pressure, comparison, and feeling like you’re never enough.

We explore toxic productivity, hustle culture, perfectionism, and the idea that your worth is not measured by how much you achieve. Self-development can be beautiful, but there’s a difference between growing from a place of self-love and trying to “fix” yourself because you don’t feel worthy.

    This episode dives into:
✨ Why self-improvement can become unhealthy
✨ The difference between discipline and self-punishment
✨ How hustle culture affects our relationships, health, and happiness
    ✨ Redefining success beyond achievements
✨ Learning to balance ambition with rest, connection, and faith
✨ Trusting the process and letting go of the need to control everything

  • How I Learned to Stop Judging People & Understand Them Better
    2026/06/23

Hey Beautiful 💓In this episode of To All The Girls Out There (TATGOT) , I talk about something that genuinely shifted how I see people and myself — the core conditions from Carl Rogers.

It’s less of a “lesson” and more me sharing what I’ve been learning and how it’s been showing up in my life.I used to get really confused about how to hold my own beliefs while still being around people who think completely differently from me. I didn’t really know how to not judge people without feeling like I was losing myself in the process.

Learning about empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard helped me make sense of that in a really simple way.

In this episode I talk through:

    • What empathy actually feels like in real life
    • Learning to be honest with yourself without overthinking it
    • Accepting people without needing to agree with them
    • Practical examples of how this may show up in friendships, work, and everyday conversations
    • And steps you can take to become more open minded

Things you may want to look at:

    • Further reading on Carl Rogers' Core Conditions

In this episode of To All The Girls Out There, I'm joined by counsellor and educator Marisa Mansfield for an honest conversation about authenticity, self-worth, therapy, boundaries, and what it really means to be yourself.

Marisa opens up about her childhood growing up between privilege and hardship, the lessons she learned from adversity, and why she believes the worst thing we can be afraid of is fear itself.

We talk about making peace with your past instead of living with regret, why therapy can be life-changing, and how to stop performing for other people and start building a life that feels true to you.

    We also discuss:

🩷 Growing up with trauma and becoming resilient

🩷 Therapy, healing, and breaking generational cycles

🩷 Why regrets get you nowhere

🩷 Learning to make peace with your past

🩷 Boundaries, self-respect, and saying no

🩷 Women, equality, and knowing your worth

🩷 Why being yourself is harder than it sounds

🩷 Finding your identity instead of following the crowd

🩷 How to stop people pleasing and live authentically

🩷 Why not everyone has to like you

🩷 Building confidence one small step at a time

One of my favourite reminders from this episode is:

"You are the only perfect version of yourself."

If you've ever struggled with confidence, people pleasing, fitting in, comparison, or feeling like you've lost yourself, I hope this episode reminds you that you don't need to become somebody else to be worthy 🤍

  • Two Amazing People Can Exist At Once: Why Being Alone Is Better Than Fake Friendships| Khadijah (S1:E9)
    2026/05/30

In this episode of To All The Girls Out There, I’m joined by a very special guest — my little sister, Khadijah — for an honest conversation about self-worth, friendships, confidence, loneliness, and staying true to yourself in a world that constantly pressures you to fit in.

We talk about the reality of feeling different from your peers, navigating school and college, and why being alone is sometimes better than forcing friendships that don’t align with your values.

Khadijah opens up about spending much of Year 10 alone, the lessons she learned from that experience, and how she eventually found genuine friendships by refusing to settle for connections that didn’t feel right.

    We also discuss:

🩷 Self-worth and building confidence from within

🩷 Learning to be alone without feeling lonely

🩷 Friendship struggles and finding your people

🩷 Peer pressure and staying true to your values

    🩷 Internal vs external validation

    🩷 Why confidence isn't arrogance

🩷 Emotional regulation and learning not to react to everything

🩷 Why not everyone has to like you

🩷 Navigating friendships as a teenage girl

🩷 Trusting yourself and embracing who you are

    📖 Resources Mentioned:

    • Research on emotions and emotional regulation

    • My episode on friendships and choosing the right people (on private podcast)

    • The quote mentioned in the episode: "If a blind person couldn't see your appearance, how would they describe you based on your character, energy, and the way you make others feel?"

One of the biggest reminders from this episode is that two amazing people can exist at once. Someone else's beauty, success, popularity, or confidence does not take away from your own.

If you've ever felt left out, struggled with friendships, questioned your self-worth, or felt pressure to change yourself to fit in, know you're not alone 🤍

In this episode of To All The Girls Out There, I’m joined by Gloria, and this conversation is such a soft but honest one that I think a lot of girls will see themselves in.

We talk about the lessons learnt over the years since being in secondary school and sixth form to the current independent era of uni.

  • When You’re Trying So Hard But Nothing Is Working & You Feel Like Giving Up…
    2026/03/27

In this episode, we’re having a real conversation for the girls who feel like they’re doing everything right… but nothing is changing.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, behind in life, or like you’re trying so hard with no results — this episode is for you.

I talk about the frustration of putting in effort and not seeing progress, the thoughts that come with it, and those moments where you feel like giving up. This is something I’m personally going through right now, so this isn’t advice from someone who has it all figured out — it’s just honest, in-the-moment reflection.

We also touch on trusting the process, letting go of control, and having faith that things will come at the right time.

If you’re on a self-growth journey and feeling discouraged, I hope this reminds you that you’re not alone 🤍
