In this week's episode I want to explore the seductive claims of universalism and ask if loss of supernatural faith in the four last things - death, judgement, heaven and hell- is eroding the life of the Church and changing it irrevocably; from being a body whose primary purpose is to usher souls into the life which is to come into a body whose primary purpose is to affirm people in the life they choose to lead.

In this episode I ponder how Britain's abandonment of Christian faith has inevitably led to a loss of its own self identity. This is causing not only the collapse of its institutions and struggles with issues like immigration and the economy, it is also the cause of its shrinking fertility. Unless it rediscovers its founding faith it will die.
