In this episode I ponder if European governments are now failing in their primary duty to protect our national heritage leading to the danger of militias forming to cause social breakdown and an attempted takeover of our culture? I ask if the twin threats of extremist Islam and extremist leftism, that strange green-red alliance, is being taken seriously enough?

In this week's episode I want to explore the seductive claims of universalism and ask if loss of supernatural faith in the four last things - death, judgement, heaven and hell- is eroding the life of the Church and changing it irrevocably; from being a body whose primary purpose is to usher souls into the life which is to come into a body whose primary purpose is to affirm people in the life they choose to lead.

In this episode I review the papal visit to France and ponder what message it gave to the world and to that secular nation. I also contrast the message of hope delivered by Pope Leo with that given by Andy Burnham at the labour conference this week. Whose message is more reliable and why?
