  • Joanne Rosanoski - Country Jo's Homemade
    2021/10/13

It was an absolute delight to get back on the mic after some rough times here in Victoria.

I can't think of a better guest to kick off the next round of episodes than Joanne Rosanoski from Country Jo's Homemade.

Jo sums up what it means to be a local producer. Her focus on 360-degree production ensures that products are made using local ingredients and sold back to the community right here in the Macedon Ranges.

We had a great chat about life, commercial cooking and sourdough bread making, and I can't wait for Jo to teach me how to get my sourdough career up and running.

    You can find Jo's products @ https://www.countryjoshomemade.com.au/

    Much love, and stay safe!

    Pete

  • Shannon and Steph - Re-gen Farms Australia
    2021/05/30

Shannon and Steph have been farming for around 5 years and entered the world of farming from what you would say are less traditional backgrounds.

Their farming operation, Re-gen Farms Australia, provides some of the highest quality beef I have tasted and cooked with. Pasture raised protein is what they do best, and my advice is to get your orders in and see what the fuss is all about.

Shannon and Steph both have a love of the outdoors and a keen interest in the health of the environment and the impact that has on the produce they bring to market.

You can feel the passion that Shannon and Steph have for regenerative agriculture and the importance of maintaining the land's delicate ecosystems while producing a commercial product.

The end result, Re-gen Farms Australia is something the Macedon Ranges should be very proud of.

I am very happy to be able to help bring their story to life and offer some perspective around Regenerative Agriculture and its practices.

  • Chris Steffanoni - Aligned Sports Therapy and Nutrition
    2020/12/02

I caught up with Chris Steffanoni recently to talk about health, the body, nutrition and endurance. I had been excited to have this conversation for a while now and it didn't disappoint. Chris was raised in the Macedon Ranges and focuses on bringing great health outcomes to his clients and is an all round ambassador for this great region.

    About Chris:

As a sports therapist working in private practice, I am privileged to be in a position to help athletes and non-athletes get the most out of their bodies.

    There are three main areas that I consult in;

      1.Musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.

      2. Nutrition

      3. Bike Fitting.

I'm passionate about endurance sports having raced bikes for the last twenty years and worked with professional athletes, teams and sports institutes since 2006.

But it's not all about the athletes. Every day I see regular mums and dads, kids or grandparents in the clinic who suffer from chronic pain, recurring injuries or need some advice on what foods to eat to stay healthy.

With qualifications in complementary medicine and sports therapy, I pride myself on offering a holistic approach to treatment. I am a firm believer in Evidence-Based Practice and the biopsychosocial model of health.

As a proud professional member of Sports Medicine Australia and the Australian Natural Therapists Association, I work collaboratively with medical and allied health professionals to help every client achieve their goals.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to flick me an email or give me a call. I'm here to help.
