This Is Her Now™ is for women navigating the changes nobody fully prepared us for—the physical ones, the emotional ones, the relationship ones, and all the messy, complicated stuff in between.

I'm Libia Willcot, MSW, ACSW—a mental health professional, life coach, women's wellness educator, founder of Thrive Mind Coaching, and a woman navigating my own transitions right alongside you.

I created this podcast because even though women are talking about these things, too many of us are still finding ourselves saying, “Why didn't anybody tell me this?” Our mothers and grandmothers weren't always given the information, language, resources, or space to have these conversations with us. And sometimes, even when the information is out there, nobody is talking about it in a way that feels like they're actually talking to us.

That's what we're doing here. We're talking perimenopause and menopause, mental health, relationships, identity, aging, trauma, sex and intimacy, motherhood, boundaries, grief, healing, confidence, starting over, finding yourself again—and whatever else comes with being a woman and becoming the next version of yourself.

As a Black and Latina woman, I'm also intentional about creating space for Black women, Latinas, and other women of color whose experiences have too often been overlooked, minimized, misunderstood, or simply left out of the larger conversation. But this is a space where all women are welcome. The conversations will always come from a place of compassion, curiosity, honesty, and respect.

When we talk about health, mental health, hormones, or other topics that deserve more than somebody's opinion on the internet, we're bringing evidence into the conversation. I believe women deserve information they can actually understand and use—not fear, shame, misinformation, or somebody talking over their heads.

Think of this as sitting down with your homegirl who happens to have the education, professional experience, research—and her own damn stories—to bring to the conversation.

You don't have to have everything figured out.

Neither do I.

This is who we are now. Let's talk about it.

Welcome to This Is Her Now™.

Before we get into the conversations ahead, I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you who I am, why I created this podcast, and—more importantly—why I believe this space is needed.

This show was born from my own experiences as a woman navigating change, my work as a mental health professional and life coach, and the countless conversations I've had with women who have found themselves asking the same question: Why didn't anybody prepare us for this?

Here, we're going to talk about the things that affect us mentally, physically, emotionally, and relationally—from perimenopause and mental health to relationships, identity, boundaries, intimacy, aging, healing, trauma, starting over, and all the complicated stuff that happens in between.

Some conversations will be educational. Some will be personal. Some will be funny as hell. Some may be uncomfortable. But they'll always be real.

This first introduction is simply me opening the door and inviting you in.

Welcome to This Is Her Now™. I'm glad you're here.

Protect your peace. Honor your body. This is her now.
