    2022/06/17

Fear. It's the four letter F word that, while not as explicit as the other one that rhymes with luck, is still an impactful word that can cause sheer panic in the best of us. With fear, there are two choices we face:

    FORGET Everything And RUN

    --OR--

    FACE Everything And RISE

Today, we'll discuss fear and how we can overcome two of the biggest obstacles to success: Fear of Failure and Fear of Success. Don't forget to smash that like button and follow/subscribe!

  • It's Never Goodbye
    2022/06/09

June 8 is always a somber day in my life. It's the anniversary of my best friend passing away after fighting Cystic Fibrosis his entire life. I thought today would be a great time to share my story about our friendship, the day he passed away, and how I have celebrated his life and honored his memory ever since. Have you experienced the loss of a loved one (friend, family member, pet, colleague)? How did you process it? How have you honored their memory? One thing I've learned, it's never goodbye as long as we have the memories and their spirit is in our hearts.

Side note: you can now find me on the Wisdom App! Wisdom is a new social media platform available on the App Store and Google Play. I am still getting acclimated to it but, as I get things set up, I will hop on to do live talks a couple of days a week. It is a great opportunity for me to not only add some depth to the podcast, but also get to interact with you the listener! I hope that you will join me there! https://joinwisdom.audio/jeremyedom

  • The End of the Beginning: A Story of My Survival
    2022/06/02

Disclaimer: Today's episode does include topics of a sensitive nature, including suicide. If you are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts, please call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-275-TALK (1-800-275-8255) or text the word HOME to the Crisis Line (741741). If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1

Today's episode is about beginnings. Winston Churchill once said "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

We're going to talk about the end of the beginning. For the first time, I am sharing the story where my life was almost at an end because I thought it was the beginning of the end. Today, I'm sharing the story of my suicide attempt, my survival, and my recovery. I hope you give it a listen and hope it inspires people that we are closer to the end of the beginning rather than the beginning of the end.
