  • Sobriety and Fitness…do they go hand in hand?
    2026/08/06

This week, we’re talking about fitness, sobriety and the strange line between doing something because it makes you feel good and feeling like you have to do it just to feel okay.

Jamie talks about the shame cycle that used to come with drinking: waking up hungover, feeling awful about himself, promising to do better and then eventually doing it all over again. Now, years into sobriety, he’s noticed something familiar creeping into his relationship with the gym.

Training six or seven days a week feels incredible. It gives him routine, endorphins, confidence and a positive outlet that works brilliantly alongside sobriety. But what happens when missing a workout brings guilt? When you start obsessing over calories, weight, steps and how your body looks? Have you actually broken the cycle, or have you just found a healthier-looking place to put it?

We talk about why so many of us throw ourselves into fitness after getting sober, when that can be an incredibly positive thing, and when discipline can quietly start turning into obsession.

Because the aim isn’t to stop caring about fitness. It’s learning how to let it add to your life without letting it run your life.

  • Kaitlin Reeve - The Double Life
    2026/07/30

How do you hide a cocaine addiction when you’re the person everyone depends on?

This week, we’re joined by Kaitlin Reeve, the creator behind @soberasamotherfocused, for one of our most raw conversations yet. Kaitlin opens up about living a double life as a mother battling cocaine addiction, the lies she told herself, the fear of being exposed, and how quickly everything she cared about came close to falling apart.

We talk about the guilt of parenting while in active addiction, the stigma that keeps so many mothers silent, and the moment she realised she had to choose between continuing down a path that was destroying her or fighting for the life she wanted.

This is an unflinching conversation about addiction, shame, recovery and redemption. It’s a reminder that addiction doesn’t discriminate and that no matter how dark things become, there is always a way back.

  • Relapse, Blips & Starting Again: What Happens Next?
    2026/07/23

A relapse doesn’t erase your progress, and a blip doesn’t have to become a full return to old habits. In this episode, we talk honestly about what happens when things don’t go to plan, why shame keeps so many people stuck, and how to get back on track without writing yourself off. Whether you’ve slipped, you’re supporting someone who has, or you’re living with the fear that it might happen one day, this is a conversation about honesty, compassion, and remembering that recovery isn’t about perfection; it’s about what you do next.
