  • Episode 38: The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism with Daniel Hummel
    2026/04/21

Today we are sharing a conversation with author and historian Daniel Hummel about his book “The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism.” Daniel not only defines dispensationalism but also discusses why he thinks this theology (which places a heavy emphasis on Israel and a physical rapture of the church) has made its way into American politics and why it’s appeal has begun to fade over the past decades, particularly with Gen Z and Millennial adults.

Make sure you check out our bonus episode on Substack with Daniel where Katy asks him about how dispensationalism has caused a misunderstanding of the character and nature of God.
